People have been practicing yoga for many years. That is because yoga improves health and mental well-being. Yoga impacts every aspect of your life which include the mind, body and spirit. Below you will find some of the many benefits of yoga.

* Flexibility - Yoga is great for improving your flexibility. It stretches out your body and helps stretch and lengthen your muscles reducing the risk of injury.

You can be fully focused on what you are doing at this precise moment with no thoughts of tomorrow or the past.

* Stress - Stress plays a major role in many illnesses. Deep breathing through yoga helps to reduce the feelings of being overloaded, overwhelmed and stressed out. Instead, you are able to relax.
