Laser Hair Removal - in your home.
Author: admin
A lot of time can be spent waxing, shaving, plucking and generally dealing with unwanted hair. Clinics offering laser hair removal treatments have become widespread, and are proven to be effective, however the costs do add up.
There are many home hair removal options available, but the laser based ones have so far proven to be either a waste of time or no better than shaving. However, I have finally found a home system that actually does what it offers – a system called Tria.
Only recently released in this country, the device is the number one seller in Japan. They have designed a ‘diode laser’ that is powerful enough in intensity to effect the hair follicles, yet it is the equivalent of a low level laser when effecting the eye retina. This means the laser meets current safety standards, and that combined with triple contact sensors which only allow activation when the skin is in correctly positioned, is one of the contributing factors that make this the first home laser system that actually works!
Tria actually does give long term results, however this is not a cheap device in the initial purchase. A Tria will currently cost £695. If you calculate this against the cost of regular clinical visits it suddenly becomes the money saving option. The biggest thing for me though is the time saving. Shaving has to be done regularly, with laser removal the hairs are removed for a much longer period, leaving me with more time to do other things.
